Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and possess at least 7 years of experience in business development, with a focus on supply chain solutions, and demonstrate a proven track record of driving revenue growth within complex organizations. Strong understanding of the electronics industry, particularly Cloud Computing, Server OEM, Semiconductor, and Healthcare sectors is essential, along with the ability to articulate opportunity status and identify scope.
The Business Development Director will lead account management and business development initiatives for key clients, establishing a funnel of opportunities and proactively assessing customer needs. They will develop and manage strategic account plans, grow profitably by selling value-added solutions, and direct cross-functional Arrow personnel to meet account objectives. Furthermore, the role involves building relationships with suppliers’ account managers, developing proposals, and ensuring RFQ activities align with Arrow guidelines and policies.
