Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and demonstrate at least 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to travel up to 75% of the time and engage with prospects in person.
The Business Development Director will be responsible for building strategic relationships with prospective business partners, communicating HopSkipDrive’s value proposition, and developing lasting relationships with key decision-makers through various sales formats including email, in-person meetings, and conferences. They will also identify and understand the transportation challenges of prospects, tailor proposals accordingly, and partner cross-functionally with Strategic Account Executives to close deals while demonstrating curiosity and compassion towards clients’ goals and motivations.
