Requirements

Candidates should have 0-2 years of experience in entering, maintaining, and validating service and billing data, and preparing customer invoices. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a high-volume environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel are required. Basic computer function knowledge, good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team are also necessary. An eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to new systems and processes is essential.

Responsibilities

The Billing Assistant will perform routine billing and data entry functions, including entering and updating customer contracts into the company's systems. They will compare entered data to source documentation for accuracy and completeness, scan source documents into the document storage system, and ensure accurate data entry, making corrections as needed. The role may involve gathering supplemental billing information, transmitting digital invoices, and ensuring all billing-related documents are properly stored. The Billing Assistant will also assist in resolving simple billing issues and discrepancies.
