Deel is seeking a Benefits Manager to shape and scale its global benefits programs for a diverse, distributed workforce. This role involves leading the design and launch of new benefits initiatives, managing renewals, building vendor partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can balance high-level planning with detailed execution, collaborate across functions, make data-driven decisions, and drive innovation in the future of work. The Benefits Manager will also act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and clients on complex benefits landscapes, aligning with Deel’s global mission.

Responsibilities

  • Launch new benefits programs from scratch.
  • Project manage renewals of existing policies.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and partners.
  • Develop materials to support Deel’s benefits offerings.
  • Tackle special projects within the benefits space.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all things benefits.
  • Create new processes to support Deel’s growing operations.
  • Support clients in finding suitable benefits solutions.
  • Resolve complex cross-team queries.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Benefits, either working for a broker or at a large start-up.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships, influence decisions, and communicate complex work clearly and concisely to various audiences.
  • High level of ownership, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Operational experience running benefits plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Data-driven with advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in the future of work and evolving workplace trends.
  • Strong creative thinking skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
