Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of 3 years of Workday Benefits lead experience, along with 2-5 years of industry knowledge in Benefits Administration or Human Resource Management, including understanding of benefit concepts such as plan designs, Cobra, Evidence of Insurability, and age reduction rules. Demonstrated customer-facing skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications are required, as well as intermediate/advanced level Excel skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

The Benefits Senior Principal Consultant will lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Benefits workstream, including planning, configuration, testing, and deployment. They will collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective Workday Benefits configurations, supporting them through all phases within the project. The role involves performing multiple tasks under limited direction, keeping stakeholders informed, utilizing technical aptitude for data conversion, mentoring fellow consultants, and actively participating in training opportunities. Additionally, the consultant will take a leadership position on projects, act as a Cognizant or Workday product Partner Lead and/or Delivery Assurance Reviewer, and assist with update training.
