Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience in the higher education industry and with Ellucian Banner, demonstrating advanced user proficiency. Required qualifications include proficiency in running payroll using the Banner Human Resources module, expertise in navigating complex HR and payroll processes, and in-depth knowledge of HR regulations in higher education. Proven experience in troubleshooting complex payroll issues, developing innovative solutions, planning and executing Banner HR module implementations, and consulting experience focused on enhancing business processes and creating efficiency are also necessary. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, a proven customer service approach, and the ability to travel up to 25% are essential.
Consultants will provide implementation services, including training, functional consulting, and technical support for Banner at client sites. They will analyze current HR and payroll processes, suggest technological improvements for efficiency, review payroll data for accuracy, and maximize payroll system functionality. Responsibilities also include addressing payroll-related questions and issues promptly and collaborating professionally with college and university stakeholders.
