Requirements
- Experience in electrical or mechanical troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and machine prints
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
- Ability to dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment
- Familiarity with test and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform equipment modifications as directed
- Adherence to Rockwell Automation Safety Standards and Policies
Responsibilities
- Assure equipment is fully operational to support product production
- Install, maintain, and repair Electronic Assembly equipment
- Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting
- Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment
- Use test and diagnostic equipment
- Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required
- Perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers
- Resolve production disruptions and repair machine breakdowns
- Identify and resolve machine and process issues relating to downtime, scrap, and performance
- Monitor spare parts inventories and recommend inventory levels
- Assist in equipment move and rearrange and new equipment installations
- Record completed preventive maintenance tasks and repair data
- Identify parts and materials required for repairs
- Coordinate acquisition of parts with the Maintenance Supervisor and purchasing team
- Respond to emergency work requests from production
- Implement solutions and perform design and/or programming modifications to plant equipment
- Comply with written procedures to maintain ISO Certification
