Candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Zendesk administration, demonstrating a strong understanding of ticketing workflows, automations, and system configurations. Familiarity with Zendesk Explore for reporting and analytics is expected, along with basic proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
The Associate Systems Analyst will implement Zendesk application changes, automation tasks, and enhancements, progressively handling more advanced work with oversight. They will administer and maintain Zendesk configurations, including custom ticket fields, triggers, automations, and SLA policies to optimize workflows. Responsibilities include developing automation workflows, writing and maintaining scripts, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify workflow improvements and innovative enhancements. Furthermore, the role involves working with REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware tools to integrate Zendesk with other applications, developing and maintaining documentation, and generating insights through data extraction and reporting.
