Candidates should possess 1-3 years of software support experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage upset customers. They should also have strong problem-solving and computer skills.
The Consumer Support Specialist will be responsible for answering consumer support tickets that come through Zendesk, tagging tickets for tracking, researching customer issues, reporting any bugs or issues uncovered, handling tickets escalated from the Tier 1 team, and providing detailed background information when reporting bugs or issues. They will also maintain courteous and articulate communication while working 40 hours per week and overseeing their work with the Director of Merchant Operations and Support.
