Snowflake is seeking an Associate Solution Engineer who excels at solving complex customer problems and closing significant deals. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs, develop winning sales strategies, deliver impactful value-based demonstrations, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, and ultimately drive business closure. As an Associate Solution Engineer at Snowflake, you must be passionate about revolutionizing the database landscape, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess the adaptability to tackle diverse challenges. You should be comfortable operating in both business and technical contexts, engaging effectively with executives and technical specialists alike.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executive and technical stakeholders at prospect and customer organizations.
• Engage hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and articulate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, including demos, proof of concepts, design, and implementation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and effectively positioning Snowflake against them.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to drive continuous improvement of Snowflake's products and marketing strategies.

Requirements

• Exceptional presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and executive audiences through impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demonstrations.
• Broad experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technologies, ETL processes, analytics, and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics.
• Ability to connect specific customer business challenges with Snowflake's solutions.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
