Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel 100% Monday through Friday. Experience with electrical, plumbing, and general construction is preferred, as well as a strong understanding of CAD drawings and wire diagrams. Familiarity with Internet Protocol (IP) and computer networking requirements is beneficial.
The Associate Installation Technician will confirm site readiness, perform detailed product inventory, and communicate issues to internal teams. They will install surgical light suspension systems, surgical booms, video integration systems, and associated cabling, while also performing functional and quality checks and documenting equipment installation. The role involves troubleshooting equipment failures, performing diagnoses and repairs, testing equipment for proper operation, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, the technician will coordinate travel arrangements, manage daily schedules, provide project updates, and coordinate with quality and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
