Requirements

  • 0-2 years of performance marketing and/or acquisition marketing experience
  • Willingness to work in the Midtown Manhattan office three days every week
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing, meeting deadlines, and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Pro-active, self-starter mindset and excellent communication skills
  • Passion for journalism, publishing, and/or financial news

Responsibilities

  • Execute The Wall Street Journal's global subscription acquisition marketing strategy
  • Partner with internal paid media teams to ensure that media budgets are delivered, and campaign goals are met
  • Manage and optimize owned media channels, including email and onsite, to ensure achievement of targets
  • Monitor ongoing campaigns, working with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient planning, launch, run time, and take down
  • Provide post-campaign analysis, drawing on successes and failures, to identify tactics that are effective as well as areas of improvement
  • Improve and optimize conversion journey through ideating and launching experiments
  • Work collaboratively with brand, paid media, product, news, marketing ops and content marketing teams to identify creative ways to improve acquisition
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes and new technologies impacting digital marketing and MarTech platforms
