A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree (GC, MBA, MPH, PhD, or related) being preferred. Candidates must have 15 years of experience, including over 7 years in management within a clinical setting, market access, reimbursement, and/or health economics, with a significant focus on molecular diagnostics. Proven success in developing market access strategies and partnerships in the diagnostics, biopharma, or payer sectors is essential, along with a solid understanding of reimbursement systems, HTA processes, and payer decision-making across major global markets. Experience with molecular diagnostics and next-generation sequencing is also required.
The Associate Director will support global market access strategies for molecular diagnostic solutions, including client and ecosystem partnerships, and internal development processes. They will collaborate with regional and country teams to secure reimbursement and access in key markets, addressing diverse payer requirements and Health Technology Assessment processes. Responsibilities include partnering with Government Affairs, Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Marketing teams to support strategies for gaining, protecting, and expanding access to genomic solutions. The role involves defining and communicating the clinical and economic value of diagnostics through compelling value propositions, evidence generation studies, and payer engagement. They will also support the Global Health Economics and Outcomes Team on evidence generation strategies, monitor global policy coverage trends, aid in the development of global value dossiers and reimbursement toolkits, and build relationships with external stakeholders like payers and HTA bodies. Additionally, the position requires maintaining positive working relationships with customers, distributors, and core laboratories, supporting Commercial and Marketing engagements, and providing strategic input into product development, launch planning, and lifecycle management, while ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
