Requirements

Candidates must possess a BA or BS degree, with an MBA or advanced degree being a plus. A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech or life science digital marketing is required, along with at least 5 years in media strategy and planning. Experience working with digital agencies and offshore partners is necessary, as is a deep understanding of DTC and HCP media landscapes, including omnichannel planning and execution. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in a regulated environment, along with strong analytical skills in media performance measurement and optimization, are essential.

Responsibilities

The Associate Director Media Excellence will manage the media agency AOR and oversee a media manager to ensure effective media buying and campaign execution. This role involves leading the development and execution of omnichannel media strategies to achieve brand and corporate goals, while driving innovation and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations. Responsibilities also include analyzing campaign performance to provide actionable insights for optimization and ROI, and partnering with brand teams to support their strategic imperatives and ensure cohesive media content and tactics through collaboration with marketing and PMRC.
