Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience as a Paid Social Creative Strategist or in a similar performance creative role, with a strong focus on direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands. Proven experience working for brands with non-physical products, such as in the fintech space, is required. Deep knowledge of direct response (DR) best practices and a track record of creating high-performing ad creative are essential. A strong portfolio demonstrating a strategic approach to paid social advertising and a keen understanding of what drives conversions is necessary. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate strategic rationale and provide constructive feedback to a creative team are also required, along with proficiency in leveraging performance data to inform and optimize creative decisions.
The Senior Paid Social Creative Strategist will shape the roadmap and build a robust pipeline of performance creative for paid social advertising across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X. They will stay on top of trends and competitor strategies, identifying the next breakout format or platform to gain a competitive edge. This role involves conducting deep consumer research to understand audience pain points and motivations, translating those insights into powerful ad messaging and value propositions. The strategist will review all creative assets for message clarity, strategic alignment, and adherence to direct response best practices, and provide clear, actionable feedback to the creative team. Collaboration with media buying and growth teams to analyze ad performance data and identify opportunities for creative testing and iteration is also a key responsibility.
