Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required with preferred experience in engineering, architecture, computer science or other related field
  • Proficiency in one or more standard AEC technologies including Autodesk AEC modeling tools, enterprise project management, or construction management tools
  • Minimum 3 years or equivalent of advanced and progressive BIM or VDC hands-on experience in the AEC, media and entertainment and/or manufacturing business driving the adoption of design authoring and collaboration technology tools
  • Good literacy in both Chinese and English
  • Demonstrated ethical professionalism and passion and ability to learn and work in a highly organized and self-motivated manner
  • Possess understanding of technology and AEC field
  • Remain current with evolving technology in the external market place
  • Embrace high technical and process complexity and must understand mixture of technology and how it applies to WDI processes and international collaboration context

Responsibilities

  • Support technology tools, methods, and practices across the organization related to the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry
  • Support documentation of processes, procedures, workflows in concise, graphical and illustrative manner
  • Provide technical expertise and help to aid projects in the realm of AEC technology including being a subject matter expertise staffed onto a specific project for a specific discipline
  • Contribute and support the maintenance of the 3D content and/or modeling of a project's assets
  • Participate in auditing, identifying, and resolving opportunities around process and technology improvements for a project
  • Support communications between projects related studios including the Technology Studio and D+PS
  • Support company standards/processes for BIM and/or VDC technology
  • Provide feedback on lessons learned across WDI for all projects and/or within a studio
  • Identify options, and formalize recommendations which is raised to more senior individuals
  • Work with more senior technology managers staffed on the project on a daily basis
  • Engage with project stakeholders on a daily basis to provide support and drive project forward
  • Engage within Technology Studio and Technology Studio partners on a semi-weekly basis
