The Opportunity

This position is based in São Paulo, within our Laboratory Diagnostics Division. In the Laboratory Diagnostics area, we provide accurate and timely information so that you and your doctor can make the best decisions for your health at every stage of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are performed on Abbott's diagnostic equipment, providing laboratory results for millions of people.

As a Technical Assistant, you will have the opportunity to perform installations, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of diagnostic equipment, following defined global and local standards and procedures.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain records and documentation of all services performed in accordance with defined global and local procedures, maintaining physical and virtual files.
  • Comply with policies and procedures related to your activity according to the premises of the implemented quality systems.
  • Conduct actions and decisions under the responsibility of the role, respecting the company's Commercial Code of Conduct.
  • Provide support for EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies and practices, participating in and supporting area actions.

Requirements

  • Completed Higher Education or Technical Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Electromechanics.
  • Desirable: Technical English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of Abbott equipment will be a differential.
  • Knowledge of clinical analysis laboratory processes.
  • Desirable: Degree in Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or related fields.
  • Desirable knowledge in IT systems: Networks, Python programming, Linux.
