We are seeking a passionate Electrophysiology Mentor (EPM) to join our Clinical Services team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about ECG interpretation and supporting cardiac patients through innovative remote patient monitoring body sensor technologies. You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a team leader for a group of assigned Analysis Technicians, mentoring and developing them to meet or exceed company standards and performance goals.
• Communicate regularly with Clinical Services Managers and Trainers to identify and address training or coaching needs for team members.
• Collaborate with Clinical Services Managers and Trainers to implement training and corrective action initiatives for underperforming team members, documenting all coaching efforts.
• Actively participate in team communications to provide guidance, feedback, and direct assistance on ECG interpretations, software usage, internal procedures, and notification criteria.
• When workload permits, lead group training sessions for technicians, including preparing training materials and facilitating in-person and virtual sessions.
• Provide support and coverage for other Electrophysiology Mentors and/or office locations as needed.
• Assist Clinical Services staff by reviewing and confirming advanced arrhythmias and cardiac events that meet notification criteria.
• When business needs require, assist Clinical Assurance Technicians with retroactive clinical assurance reviews of technician-prepared reports.
• When business needs require, assist the Internal Review Technician team with proactively reviewing completed CAM reports and providing detailed feedback to Analysis Technicians according to established reporting standards.
• Maintain compliance with job-specific proficiency requirements, such as CRAT or CCT certification through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Work overtime as needed to meet workflow objectives and ensure the quality and timeliness of ECG reporting.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Must pass IRT assessment and complete IRT training.
• CRAT or CCT certification.
• Must be within commutable distance to the assigned office to work on-site when required.
• Detailed and advanced knowledge of Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and related Physiology as it applies to cardiac monitoring and ECG reporting.
• Thorough expertise and qualitative execution of department policies and reporting standards.
• One (1) to three (3) years of ECG interpretation experience.
