Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design and delivering engaging training sessions, both in-person and online, preferably within the VFX or animation industry
  • Fluency in Korean and English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the VFX production pipeline and proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Unreal Engine, Photoshop)
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging educational content for creative audiences, using a variety of instructional formats
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Consultative, collaborative approach to problem-solving and identifying learning needs
  • Appreciation for cultural and business nuances across international teams
  • Passion for continuous learning and empowering others to grow

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-impact training materials, courses, and resources for artists, ensuring content is accessible, relevant, and engaging
  • Create and maintain comprehensive curricula for skill development and workflow training, utilizing diverse formats such as video tutorials, interactive modules, live workshops, and written documentation
  • Produce and curate visually compelling training assets (e.g., 2D/3D assets, graphics, icons) that meet studio quality standards
  • Partner closely with artists, leads, subject matter experts, and studio leadership to identify skill gaps, gather requirements, and prioritize content development
  • Develop a deep understanding of current production workflows and tools to ensure training aligns with real-world studio practices
  • Adapt and localize training content for the APAC region, considering cultural nuances, language needs, and regional workflows
  • Deliver training sessions in-person and virtually, facilitating workshops and supporting artists in their learning journey
  • Organize and maintain content within the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring materials are easily accessible and up-to-date
  • Develop and implement methods to assess training effectiveness, gather learner feedback, and analyze performance data to refine and enhance learning experiences
  • Stay current with industry tools, trends, and best practices in VFX production, integrating new knowledge and technologies into training offerings
  • Work closely with the Learning & Development Manager to ensure training initiatives align with business goals, artistic standards, and organizational priorities
