The Area Sales Manager (Dhule) is required to have experience in sales and team management, specifically within the context of driving merchant acquisition and servicing for a digital payments company like PhonePe. Strong understanding of offline sales strategies and market dynamics is essential, along with the ability to manage and motivate a team of Business Development Executives or Retail Touchpoint Leads.
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for growing the PhonePe merchant network through acquisition and servicing, driving quality in execution via audits and reviews, meeting with merchants to present products and manage escalations, monitoring competition within their assigned territory, and ensuring a positive return on investment through acquisition and winback productivity. They will also manage a team of 8-10 BDE/RTLs and report to the Area Sales Manager, focusing on driving market share of PhonePe in the offline business space.
