Requirements

Candidates should have experience building and shipping code to production in a fast-paced environment, utilizing AI-assisted development tools, and deploying LLM-based production systems. Experience with AI frameworks, AWS, and specifically managed AI services is required. Bonus points for open-source AI contributions and experience with AI evaluation and observability at scale, or model training/fine-tuning. While specific years of experience are not mandated, a passion for AI's transformative potential and experience with AI/ML systems and AWS are highly valued.

Responsibilities

The AI Lead Software Engineer will design and implement LLM-based agentic applications, run experiments, establish technical patterns, and mentor other engineers. Responsibilities include writing code, defining architectural patterns for prompt engineering and agent workflows, building on AWS, and establishing testing strategies for AI systems. The role also involves partnering with product teams, interviewing customers for feedback, and contributing code to AI solutions.
