Candidates should have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computational Linguistics, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with substantial industry experience in NLP, adversarial ML, and dataset creation for AI models. A minimum of 5 years of experience in program or product management, preferably in AI/ML, NLP, or social impact technology, is required. Proven experience managing interdisciplinary and multicultural projects, strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with LLMs, language data lifecycles, or multilingual NLP, and a passion for linguistic diversity, digital equity, and inclusive AI are also necessary. Experience in computational linguistics, sociolinguistics, data governance, international or community-centered technology projects, open-source, humanitarian tech, or nonprofit environments, and fluency in a non-English language are considered advantageous.
The Product Manager will lead and coordinate initiatives for low-resource language AI projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. They will engage with linguists, language communities, NGOs, researchers, and policymakers to inform and implement program priorities. Responsibilities include maintaining AI model behavioral policies for ethical and legal compliance, promoting NVIDIA's AI behavior guidelines, and providing feedback to the community for responsible AI development. Additionally, the role involves identifying linguistic tactics to bypass guardrails, developing adversarial test sets or fine-tuned models to strengthen AI defenses, and collaborating with responsible AI and legal teams to identify and mitigate potential ethical, sociocultural, and governance risks.
