Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics, or a Master's degree in a similar field, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. Required skills include 7+ years of Python application development, familiarity with API frameworks and RESTful API concepts, strong understanding of machine learning frameworks, 3+ years of experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools, PySpark, and 2+ years of cloud platform experience (Azure, GCP, AWS). Highly desired qualifications include experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) in application development, version control systems (Git), generative AI frameworks (Langchain, Pydantic AI), deep learning techniques, NoSQL databases, natural language processing (NLP), and big data/data streaming technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka). A high-speed DSL or cable modem internet connection (25mbps download/10mbps upload) is required for remote work, excluding satellite and wireless internet.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Engineer will build the Agentic AI platform and deliver AI-powered solutions using large-scale datasets and state-of-the-art tools. Responsibilities include exploring and implementing generative AI technologies with Large Language Models, building and maintaining robust APIs for Retrieval-Augmented Generation and generative AI agents, designing and developing data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and transformation, and assisting the data science team with traditional machine learning model development and deployment. The role also involves collaborating with data scientists, monitoring and maintaining performance and reliability of deployed assets, and staying updated with advancements in AI and machine learning.
