Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field with a strong quantitative foundation. A minimum of 7 years of product data science experience, with a focus on natural language processing (NLP) on large, unstructured datasets, is required. Advanced technical proficiency with modern data stacks like dbt and Airflow, and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Hex, is necessary. A deep understanding of product analytics and metrics, with experience translating them into actionable insights for business partners, is essential. Expertise with data modeling and machine learning techniques, along with strong experience in A/B testing and statistical analysis, is also required.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Data Scientist - AI will work with unique, proprietary language-based clinical data to identify key insights and build tailored experiences for patients and providers. This role involves serving as a strategic thought partner to Product Management, Engineering, and Finance leadership. Responsibilities include developing insights, providing operational support, and establishing data foundations across multiple AI domains, such as data labeling, synthetic data generation, evaluation writing, and model training. The individual will work at both big picture and granular levels, ensuring all decisions are data-driven and developing innovative approaches to assess the progress and performance of initiatives.
