Requirements

Candidates must have at least 3 years of professional experience managing data annotation or labeling operations in a fast-paced environment. They should have a proven track record of building data annotation processes from scratch in a scaling environment, delivering high-quality data for engineering, data science, and product teams. A minimum of 2 years of experience hiring, leading, and managing data annotation teams is required, along with expertise in defining data annotation processes, standard operating procedures, audit mechanisms, and workflows for distributed teams. Experience with quality scoring frameworks, inter-rater reliability, and QA loop design is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include psychology training, familiarity with clinical data (EHR, text, multi-modal), machine learning workflows, managing clinical or PhD-level annotators, and proficiency with analytics tools like Hex and SQL.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Data Operations Manager will be responsible for building, scaling, and shaping a data annotation program from the ground up to support AI-enabled mental health experiences. This includes designing the systems, teams, and processes for scalable, high-quality annotation pipelines.
