Requirements

High school diploma/GED required, associate’s degree preferred
1-3 years of administrative support experience with the ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously
Previous experience in self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous, and professional manner
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Suite (word processing, spreadsheets, reports, databases, and presentations), with very high importance on Excel skill level
Proficient in internet usage
Core competencies: Organizational skills (manage multiple tasks, prioritize, time management), communication skills (verbal and written), reliability, customer focus, positive outlook

Responsibilities

Field incoming calls, transfer to appropriate associate, answer routine and non-routine questions, or take messages and direct to appropriate contact
Type and design general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, reports, etc., utilizing Microsoft Office
Schedule and organize activities such as meetings, travel, food orders, and department activities for members of the Savage location
Greet visitors at the front desk, ensure they sign in and out of the visitor logbook, and contact the associate(s) they are visiting
Purchase supplies for production shop & warehouse when required
Stock breakroom & conference room supplies daily
Manage office supply inventory and order supplies as needed
Sort through and distribute mail for various departments daily
Confirm voicemails and direct them to the appropriate person via email or verbally
Set up and run reports within Trend system when requested/as required
Work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and ongoing projects
Work with production scheduler to build up work order packets with assembly drawings and labels daily
Other various duties to be jointly determined as required
Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction
