Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of payroll and human resources experience, with multi-location experience being strongly preferred. They must also have 5+ years of general accounting and/or accounts payable experience, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong working knowledge of ADP, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

The Accounting & Payroll Specialist will review timesheets for accuracy and compliance with state labor laws, process bi-weekly payroll, download and review reports, and compile payroll entries for GL. They will assist People Operations with new hires, terminations, and promotions, and support employees with benefits enrollment and reconcile benefits invoices with payroll deductions. The Specialist will also manage & maintain time off policies in ADP, maintain state payroll tax accounts, maintain supporting payroll documentation, process accounts payable (invoices and expense reports), reconcile the corporate credit card transactions, and assist accounting team with Netsuite bank transaction matching. Additionally, they will implement processes improvements to streamline functions and assist with special projects.
