Requirements

Candidates should have 2-3 years of multi-state payroll processing experience in a large-scale customer-facing organization and a High School Diploma or GED. Required skills include Microsoft Excel/spreadsheet analysis, hands-on experience with payroll software like ADP, Oracle, Workday, or Ceridian, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Understanding of wage attachments such as garnishments, child support, and levies is necessary, along with a reliable work ethic and the ability to work independently and in teams. Preferred qualifications include FPC or CPP certification and an Associate's degree in finance/accounting, with bonus points for Workday software experience.

Responsibilities

The Payroll Analyst will review and process all payroll-related tickets, ensuring accuracy and appropriate documentation. They will accurately process payroll and meet all deadlines, create and submit EIB files for Workday upload, and conduct audits of payroll data, balancing file totals to payroll totals. Responsibilities include saving supporting documentation and balancing reports, reviewing benefits premium deductions on file feeds, preparing, processing, and tracking wage garnishments and child support orders, and maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures. The role also involves maintaining employee confidentiality, processing authorized employment verification requests within 48 business hours, and verifying that payroll deduction benefit amounts are accurately deducted from employee paychecks.
