Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant sales experience and hold a valid driver’s license. Prior experience in the waste or transportation industry is preferred.
The Account Manager is responsible for proactively maintaining and retaining relationships with existing customers for permanent commercial and industrial waste services, developing a thorough knowledge of Republic Services’ available services and pricing, performing contractual re-signs, responding to cancellation requests, communicating with customers regarding pricing initiatives, utilizing Salesforce to document activities, increasing customer penetration by selling the full suite of Republic Services products, meeting with a Sales Manager to review customer activities, partnering with the operations team to address customer service issues, and building relationships through company-sponsored activities and events. They will also perform other job-related duties as assigned.
