Requirements

Candidates should possess 3+ years of Account Manager experience, specifically within the Private Equity and Venture Capital space, as well as M&A Advisors, Legal, Corporate, and Consultancy professionals. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding renewal targets and driving revenue growth is required, alongside a customer-centric mindset and strong commercial instincts. High proficiency in relationship building and management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and being highly organized and detail-oriented are also necessary. Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or HubSpot is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction. They will also focus on renewing current agreements, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling new users, additional services, and products, while proactively addressing and resolving client issues. The role involves maintaining clear communication with clients regarding project status and product updates, developing strategies to align services with client objectives, conducting regular business reviews, collaborating with sales, editorial, marketing, and product teams, and managing account documentation, contracts, and renewal processes. Furthermore, the Account Manager will accurately forecast renewal pipeline and upsell opportunities.
