Requirements

Candidates should possess previous sales experience of instrumentation, ideally within a laboratory environment, and be open to a career change. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, although experience can be considered a substitute.

Responsibilities

The Account Manager will identify and prioritize new client opportunities, develop solution implementation and growth strategies, lead and nurture account relationships to drive expansion and renewals, collaborate with customers and internal resources to determine the best technology choices, provide quotations, negotiate contracts, and close orders. They will also expand current account penetration, grow organically, develop sales strategies to meet objectives, use sales tools to manage accounts, and maintain awareness of competitors and industry activity.
