Candidates should possess 5+ years of Account Management experience within the financial services sector, with preference given to direct experience in cards, payments, or issuer processing. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required, along with networking abilities to build rapport internally and externally. A growth mindset and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment are also necessary, alongside the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
The Account Manager will proactively build and manage relationships with clients and their key personnel, becoming a trusted partner while managing the governance framework and running key forums like Steering Committees and Business Reviews. They will partner with clients to develop strategic account plans aligned with their goals, identify and develop opportunities, serve as an escalation point for client issues, and ensure KPI’s and targets are consistently met. Additionally, the Account Manager will manage the business side for development, enhancements, or change requests, collaborate with internal teams to deliver client initiatives, create and maintain forecast models, and invoice clients accurately, partnering with the business development team on contract renegotiations and expanding client partnerships.
