Strong consultative selling skills focused on identifying pain points and delivering ROI-driven solutions are essential, along with experience selling to director and VP-level stakeholders in large retail organizations. The ability to manage complex sales cycles (3-9 months) with multiple stakeholders, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, and a self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally are required. A startup mindset and work ethic aligning with company core values, along with the ability to track and manage multiple projects and communicate progress, are also necessary. The role requires the ability to travel to client sites and work on international projects as needed, with proficiency in other European languages being advantageous.
The Account Executive will develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting key retailers, primarily in grocery and convenience sectors. Responsibilities include prospecting and generating new leads through outbound efforts, industry events, and strategic partnerships. The role involves managing and growing a sales pipeline from discovery through close, delivering compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs, and collaborating with product and customer success teams to ensure alignment on success criteria and ROI during POCs. Additionally, the Account Executive will negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms, and provide market feedback to product and marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategies.
