Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Account Executive specifically within the SMB segment at a unicorn startup or tech company. Proven experience selling SaaS technologies is required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to simplify complex information, strong numerical aptitude, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment are also essential qualifications. The role requires the candidate to be geographically based in India.
The Account Executive will represent and demonstrate the value of Deel to potential and existing customers, focusing on building relationships to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the SMB segment. Responsibilities include researching and qualifying client needs to propose suitable solutions, collaborating with the SDR team to develop strategies and maintain an accurate sales pipeline, and ensuring ongoing communication and relationship building with internal stakeholders in Marketing, Customer Success, and Senior Leadership. Maintaining and updating the CRM system and attending industry events to build relationships within the HR Tech/FinTech and Payroll ecosystem are also key duties.
