Candidates must have at least 2 years of demonstrated success in a strategy sales position and 2 years of full-cycle sales experience at a software or technology company. A strong track record of driving revenue, creating new business, and delivering a customer-centered experience is required, along with comfort using and maintaining CRM systems for records and forecasting. Strong presentation, active listening, prioritization, organization, critical thinking, drive, initiative, energy, and a sense of urgency are also essential.
The Account Executive will meet or exceed sales goals and quarterly revenue targets by qualifying and closing net-new opportunities at mid-sized companies, while being a collaborative team member. Responsibilities include creatively sourcing new prospects, thoughtfully positioning Huntress' offerings, acting as a trusted advisor, and staying current on competitor offerings. The role involves turning client feedback into actionable strategies, influencing client decisions, advocating for client needs, and negotiating win-win solutions. Close collaboration with Sales Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and Account Management teams is expected to ensure seamless implementation and effective account growth. Maintaining accurate records, including daily activity, forecast, and opportunity information in the CRM, is also a key responsibility.
