Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, client-facing role with a track record of working quickly and iteratively
  • Fluent German and English speaker with a deep understanding of the DACH market
  • Fast learner and self-starter energized by talking to people, solving challenges, and driving towards sales goals

Responsibilities

  • Drive expansion of Whatnot’s supply by acquiring and nurturing new livestream sellers
  • Oversee personal portfolio and manage the entire sales cycle: pitching, onboarding, strategic coaching, and facilitating growth
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by effectively managing pipeline
  • Deeply understand end-to-end sales process and collaborate with team to bring high-potential sellers to Whatnot
  • Become the go-to expert on how SMBs (primarily sellers with online presence) can scale with Whatnot
  • Source and prospect sellers, securing initial discovery and onboarding calls
  • Lead sales calls with prospects (primarily video and phone), overcome objections, and communicate Whatnot’s value proposition
  • Close sellers, onboard them onto the platform, and set them up for success
  • Utilize key data points to assess seller growth, success, and areas for improvement to drive continuous iteration
  • Collaborate with internal partners to develop business growth strategies and communicate product improvements and feedback
