Requirements

Candidates must live within the Detroit, MI territory and possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. A proven track record of identifying and closing sales opportunities, consistent quota attainment, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience are required. Experience selling advertising or complex SaaS/software solutions to business leaders, along with strong business acumen and a desire to win, are essential. Previous experience in the automotive space or digital marketplace is considered ideal.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive will act as the primary point of contact for Cars Commerce customers, focusing on ongoing customer success, retention, and growth by selling products and services to existing clients. This role involves maintaining customer relationships through in-person visits within the assigned sales territory, responding to client inquiries, and providing guidance on appropriate products and services. Responsibilities include executing sales strategy, identifying and closing upsell opportunities, preparing reports to communicate value, and demonstrating expertise in retention, sales techniques, and company products and services. The Account Executive must travel at least 75% within their territory to visit prospective customers face-to-face and partner with internal teams to ensure customers receive maximum value from the Cars Commerce Platform.
