Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Life Sciences or Business. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of sales experience in Laboratory, Medical Device, or Diagnostics Sales, or one year of experience in a technical support science role combined with two years of sales experience in the same fields. Capital Sales experience is strongly preferred, along with a consistent record of success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Residency in Michigan or Indiana is required for this remote position.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive will be responsible for achieving prescribed revenue objectives for oncology and special protein products, prospecting and closing new Laboratory and Health System business, and maintaining and growing existing accounts. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to increase test utilization and menu, presenting the value of testing to key individuals, and growing market share by converting competitors. Responsibilities include managing new customer instrument demos, directing all customer contract renewals, protecting against competitive challenges, and orchestrating the proper use of sales and marketing resources. The Account Executive will collaborate on new product implementations, conduct regular Customer Business Reviews to identify growth opportunities, and educate clinicians on the benefits of the company's test portfolio for improved patient management. They will also provide business insight to retain customers, build Key Opinion Leaders, act as the primary liaison between customers and commercial personnel, and accurately monitor sales activity using Salesforce.com.
