  • Post Graduate qualification in Business Administration or a professional qualification in public relations/marketing communication or advertising
  • Ability to evaluate and edit the work of an assistant account executive and interns
  • Intricate understanding of the account, its business, products, markets, personnel, and outside influencers
  • Solid grasp of basic public relations tools and their impact on clients
  • Solid research, writing, and editing skills
  • Ability to develop media contacts/relationships
  • Fundamental understanding of media outreach assignments and ability to develop appropriate media strategies
  • Awareness of basic digital platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter)
  • Ability to conduct online monitoring

Responsibilities

  • Write persuasive campaign content
  • Translate comprehensible content from ambiguous scripts
  • Craft formal, well-written emails to clients
  • Draft basic press releases, Q&A documents, and briefing documents
  • Build relationships with influencers
  • Gain professional trust from clients through clear communication
  • Recognize and identify key influencers in the media sphere for campaigns
  • Pitch story angles to the media
  • Provide status updates and present simple, intelligible ideas at client meetings
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions with a point of view
  • Manage vendors and follow up with stakeholders, including negotiations
  • Handle RSVP management
  • Maintain notes of meetings
  • Meet deadlines with quality output
  • Keep team and clients informed of deadlines and progress
  • Accurately translate and create media monitoring documents
  • Conduct accurate media monitoring research
  • Translate data into follow-up actions
