Candidates must possess a High School diploma, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of 2+ years of related sales experience, preferably in medical devices or healthcare, is required. Capital sales experience in a complex decision-making environment is preferred. Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, organizational, problem-solving, facilitation, and presentation skills are essential, along with high motivation, drive, curiosity, resilience, dedication, and integrity. The ability to influence personnel from nurses to C-level decision-makers is crucial. Candidates must reside in the Buffalo, NY / Rochester, NY territory, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to drive an automobile, with the ability to travel up to 50%-75% including overnight stays and occasional national travel.
The Account Executive will drive the sales of Baxter capital equipment and related products, including rental beds and service solutions, within the assigned territory. Responsibilities include generating new sales opportunities, maintaining existing business, meeting sales quotas, conducting negotiations, finalizing sales, and updating CRM systems. The role involves communicating and strategizing with internal collaborators, leading sales specialists and service personnel, supervising product installations to ensure customer satisfaction, and developing strategic business relationships, plans, and pipelines.
