Candidates should possess 3+ years of sales experience in business products or services, a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred, a demonstrated track record in closing new business and exceeding sales targets, strong relationship skills, quality communication skills, excellent time management, follow-up skills, decision-making skills, human relations skills, presentation skills, and organizational skills. Knowledge of Multi-Family industry Property Management systems, enterprise level sales experience, and general Apartment Operations is highly desired.
The Account Executive will be responsible for hunting for new business to add to MRI Software’s client portfolio, working with established clients within an assigned territory (Houston, TX), developing working relationships with internal resources, conducting software demonstrations and promoting MRI at industry conferences and trade shows, compiling lists of prospective customers, achieving sales goals, overcoming objections, initiating new contacts, maintaining customer satisfaction, traveling throughout the assigned territory to call on customers, quoting prices and credit terms, preparing sales contracts, volunteering time at industry events, networking with Property Managers, Brokers, Investors, Vendors, Suppliers, Locators, and Agents, conferring with clients to determine goals and recommendations, and utilizing technology to keep in contact with customers.
