Requirements

Candidates should possess over 5 years of successful, quota-carrying media sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding goals. A strong understanding of the marketplace and success selling multifaceted programs including AI, data, creators, custom content, social, display, programmatic, and experiential is required. Established client and agency relationships within the Central media market are essential, along with strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office is necessary, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Account Director will leverage existing relationships to close business and build a pipeline, manage existing client and agency relationships, and develop new business opportunities. Responsibilities include using consultative and solution-based selling to match client challenges with Genius’s product solutions, delivering impactful, data-driven presentations, and meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue goals. The role involves collaborating with marketing and client service teams and preparing weekly sales pipeline reports for leadership.
