As a member of the onboarding team, you will support the setup and launch of new clients' 401(k) plans. You'll be on the front lines, working with a wide variety of companies to help them set up and launch their new 401(k) plans. You will own keeping the onboarding process on-track while ensuring that customers are engaged and happy. This role requires someone who is process-driven, people-focused, organized, friendly, and flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate extensively with customers to identify their needs and help them establish their 401(k) plans.
  • Educate, guide, and inform newly signed customers about the choices available to help their employees save for retirement.
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization (specifically with sales and account management) to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Drive processes forward, managing internal and external stakeholders to keep customers engaged, happy, and on-track.
  • Identify potential areas for process improvement to help the team scale.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience with retirement plan design, particularly in 401(k) plans.
  • 3+ years of customer onboarding experience in a SaaS environment or the retirement industry.
  • A "people person" who enjoys interacting with clients and can communicate difficult concepts fluidly.
  • Energy and passion for onboarding a high volume of customers (40-50+ per month).
  • Strong work ethic, proactively following up with customers and keeping them on track.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks with varying deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
