Advanced knowledge of Comcast products (video, high-speed Internet, voice, XFINITY Home) and competitive features, benefits, differences, pricing, and campaigns
Expert knowledge of selling reflective of required relevant experience
Consistent record of success in residential canvassing sales environment, emphasizing business-to-consumer sales
Thorough and advanced understanding of video, high-speed Internet, voice, and XFINITY Home
Effective communication, organizational, and people skills, as well as strong customer service skills
Strong technical capability (computer knowledge, billing system, databases)
Ability to meet physical requirements, including walking/traveling door-to-door for considerable distances in all weather conditions
Where applicable, obtain and maintain credentials/licenses necessary to sell/design alarm systems as required by law
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary
Competent time management and organizational skills
Confidence in selling ability
Ability to operate independently, create and execute turf management plans without assistance, and utilize experience-based sales techniques
Responsibilities
Promote and sell Comcast products and services (video, high-speed Internet, voice, XFINITY Home) by knocking on every door within assigned territory
Effectively communicate and develop rapport with customers, evaluate their existing and potential product needs, and make recommendations
Increase customer understanding of Comcast products, pricing models, and competitive advantages; evaluate competitive offers and frame responses to highlight Comcast benefits
Meet and exceed sales goals established by local market
Independently establish and organize daily sales activities
Generate business through established and approved methods of lead generation
Implement effective sales closing techniques to ensure product installation goals are achieved
Understand and apply Operating Principles as guidelines for job performance
Own the customer experience by putting customers first, providing seamless digital options, and making them promoters of products/services
Be enthusiastic learners, users, and advocates of Comcast's technology, products, services, digital tools, and experiences
Win as a team by collaborating to achieve big outcomes
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
