Requirements

Advanced knowledge of Comcast products (video, high-speed Internet, voice, XFINITY Home) and thorough competitive knowledge of features, benefits, product differences, pricing, and campaigns
Expert knowledge of selling reflective of required relevant experience
Consistent record of success in residential canvassing sales environment with emphasis on business-to-consumer sales
Effective communication, organizational, and people skills, as well as strong customer service skills
Strong technical capability (computer knowledge, billing system, databases)
Competent time management and organizational skills
Ability to meet physical requirements, including walking/traveling door-to-door for considerable distances in all weather conditions
Where applicable, obtain and maintain credentials/licenses necessary to sell/design alarm systems as required by law
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary
Understand and apply Operating Principles; own customer experience; be enthusiastic about technology/products; win as a team

Responsibilities

Promote and sell Comcast products and services (video, high-speed Internet, voice, XFINITY Home) by knocking every door within assigned territory
Effectively communicate and develop rapport with customers; evaluate needs and make recommendations; increase understanding of products, pricing, and competitive advantages
Evaluate competitive offers and frame responses to highlight Comcast benefits
Create and execute turf management plans independently; utilize experience-based sales techniques
Meet and exceed sales goals established by local market
Independently establish and organize daily sales activities
Generate business through established and approved lead generation methods
Implement effective sales closing techniques to achieve product installation goals
Demonstrate confidence in selling ability and consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion
