Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Comcast products (video, high-speed Internet, voice, XFINITY Home) and thorough competitive knowledge of features, benefits, product differences, pricing, and campaigns
  • Expert knowledge of selling reflective of required relevant experience
  • Consistent record of success in residential canvassing sales environment with emphasis on business-to-consumer sales
  • Effective communication, organizational, and people skills, as well as strong customer service skills
  • Strong technical capability (computer knowledge, billing system, databases)
  • Competent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including walking/traveling door-to-door for considerable distances in all weather conditions
  • Where applicable, ability to obtain and maintain credentials/licenses necessary to sell/design alarm systems as required by law
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary
  • Understand Operating Principles and apply them to job performance

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Comcast products and services (video, high-speed Internet, voice, XFINITY Home) by knocking every door within assigned territory
  • Effectively communicate and develop rapport with customers, evaluate needs, make recommendations, increase understanding of products/pricing/competitive advantages, and frame responses to competitive offers
  • Create and execute turf management plans independently, utilize experience-based sales techniques, and operate without assistance
  • Meet and exceed sales goals established by local market
  • Independently establish and organize daily sales activities
  • Generate business through established and approved methods of lead generation
  • Implement effective sales closing techniques to achieve product installation goals
  • Demonstrate confidence in selling ability
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Own the customer experience, know products/technology, and win as a team
