  • Advanced knowledge of Comcast products (video, high-speed Internet, voice, XFINITY Home) and competitive features, benefits, differences, pricing, and campaigns
  • Thorough and recent competitive knowledge
  • Expert knowledge of selling reflective of required relevant experience
  • Demonstrated consistent record of success in residential canvassing sales environment, with emphasis on business-to-consumer sales
  • Effective communication, organizational, and people skills, as well as strong customer service skills
  • Strong technical capability (computer knowledge, billing system, databases)
  • Competent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including walking/traveling door-to-door for considerable distances in all weather conditions
  • Where applicable, ability to obtain and maintain credentials/licenses necessary to sell/design alarm systems as required by law
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Comcast products and services (video, high-speed Internet, voice, XFINITY Home) by knocking on every door within assigned territory
  • Effectively communicate with and develop rapport with customers; evaluate their existing and potential product needs and make recommendations
  • Increase customer understanding of Comcast products, pricing models, and competitive advantages; evaluate competitive offers and frame responses to highlight Comcast benefits
  • Create and execute turf management plans without assistance; utilize experience-based sales techniques
  • Independently establish and organize daily sales activities; generate business through established and approved lead generation methods
  • Implement effective sales closing techniques to meet or exceed sales goals and achieve product installation goals
  • Demonstrate understanding of Operating Principles; own the customer experience by putting customers first and providing seamless digital options
  • Be enthusiastic learners, users, and advocates of Comcast technology, products, services, and digital tools
  • Win as a team by collaborating to achieve big results
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
