Requirements

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in End-to-End medium to large ERP implementation testing, with previous Workday experience. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. Experience leading project teams in the preparation, planning, and execution of ERP system testing prior to implementation is required, along with a strong understanding of testing principles and formal testing methodologies. Experience with testing automation tools like Tricentis (Tosca) or Turnkey (Rainier), PMP and/or ISTQB Certification, knowledge in Security Test approach and audits, experience with Automated Testing Solutions, and experience leading/working with an off-shore Testing team are a plus. Knowledge of formal defect management, the ability to provide test estimates and manage delivery to an agreed budget, and an understanding of the test phase life cycle are also required. Excellent communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

The Workday Testing Manager will lead project teams on Workday implementations through the preparation, planning, and execution of testing. They will manage 1-5 Workday product implementations, track and report on testing progress, and guide project teams on test plan development and best practices. The manager will provide guidance and mentoring to other consultants, become an expert in the Cynergy™ (Workday) Implementation Methodology, and drive collaboration between QA and functional teams. They will contribute to Workday testing tools and project assets, track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns. The role involves working with the client project manager to identify and resolve issues, ensuring compliance with checkpoints with Workday’s Delivery Assurance, and assisting in the transition of the customer from Professional Services to Product Support. The manager will also participate in the sales cycle when requested, gathering requirements, formulating delivery approaches, and developing proposals/SOWs.
