Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, HRIS, or a related field. A certification in Workday HCM, Workday Recruiting, or Workday Learning is required. The role also requires 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or financial software, as well as experience gathering business requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is necessary. While not strictly required, 2+ years of Workday Time Tracking implementation experience and 2-5 years implementing functional solutions with ERP or SaaS software are highly desired.

Responsibilities

The Principal Consultant will bridge the gap between business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems and guiding clients through Workday HCM implementation phases. Responsibilities include becoming a Workday Recruiting and Learning product expert, recommending solutions based on client requirements, and guiding customers through design sessions and configuration decisions. The consultant will support clients throughout project phases, manage multiple tasks under limited direction, and collaborate with the integration team to configure and test integrations. They will also take a leadership position on projects, demonstrate hands-on expertise with Workday software including data loading and configuration, and utilize technical aptitude for data conversion.
