Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with 3+ years of Workday HCM functional implementation experience, and a Workday certification in HCM Core. A proven track record of successfully leading Workday HCM implementations for diverse clients is required, alongside experience in gathering business requirements, designing solutions, and implementing them under tight deadlines. Experience with additional Workday modules like Core Compensation, Recruiting, Benefits, People Experience, or Advanced Compensation is preferred, and a willingness to travel to client sites is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Principal Consultant will lead the HCM functional workstream for clients, ensuring successful project delivery by guiding clients through design sessions, configuration decisions, and the transition from legacy systems to the Workday HCM solution. They will reinforce company policies, organize and assign tasks within project workstreams, engage with clients throughout the project, and perform tasks under limited direction while keeping stakeholders informed. The role involves mentoring fellow consultants, utilizing technical expertise for data conversion and configuration, and actively participating in training and knowledge sharing opportunities. Additionally, the consultant will take a leadership position on projects and may serve as a Cognizant or Workday product Partner Lead and/or Delivery Assurance Reviewer, and will fulfill additional duties as assigned by the manager.
